Testimonials

Nancy is such a pleasure to work with. She is insightful, kind, caring and thoughtful. Her understanding of my issues made it easy and comfortable to work with her. I appreciated the knowledge she brought to the table as well. I feel lucky to have found her!

I am very thankful for your honesty and vulnerability in sharing your story. You are a beautiful example of strength and healing. I appreciate your guidance as a mentor to me and the ladies. It’s calming and grounding be able to check in with you as a survivor who knows the darkness but also who has faith that light that can be restored. I thank you because it helps me know I am not struggling alone nor that I need to stay broken and struggling on a daily basis. I thank you for not giving up on yourself and understanding the need and fulfilling your vision to reach out to the survivor community. It means so much to me to be able to restore hope and happiness in my daily life. Thank you. Nicole - Utah

I met Nancy in a professional context and was, literally, instantly impressed. We had a phone appointment and she called me on the dot of 3:00. As I got to know Nancy I foundthat this was emblematic of how she approaches everything. If Nancy says she will do something, she does it and she does it with everything she's got. I had never met anyone like Nancy. I knew I had found the mentor I had always hoped to meet, but I had no idea how extraordinary she truly is until the unspeakable happened.

In a moment that I will never forget our professional relationship became a personal relationship. Nancy reached out to me one morning after she woke to a horrible personal tragedy. She was in my city and the tragedy had happened in her home a thousand miles away. I suppose it made sense to call me to assist but I was astounded that this woman who I so admired would reach out to non-dynamic me in such an important moment. As I got to know Nancy on a personal level I came to understand that this is emblematic of Nancy too. She always sees WHO a person is in their core and this is who she relates to.

Although I had known previously that Nancy was a survivor of childhood trauma, in the months following Nancy's tragedy I learned the magnitude of trauma she had endured and I was beyond stunned. I had the unparalleled experience of witnessing a woman who had been decimated in her early years going through a massive trauma in her current life while continuing to operate at an astounding level of performance both as a mother and as an executive. To this day I struggle to find words for what I witnessed as she navigated past and present horrors while continuing to achieve day in and day out. Before witnessing this very closely with my own eyes I would not have believed it was possible for a human being to move through so much and continue to function so highly, let alone THRIVE yet that is exactly what Nancy did.

I learned that Nancy had developed an arsenal of tips, tricks and techniques for coping in order to survive her childhood. She had learned to pick herself up and keep moving because her achievements were the path out and the path to personal power and therefore the path to safety. Somehow this remarkable woman had discovered early in her life how to channel all of her fear into positive action. Nancy is a miracle.

Not only is Nancy a miracle but she is deeply compassionate, absolutely trustworthy, extremely loyal and honest. Nancy Allen cares. Her deeply caring nature is why she has dreamed this dream in the first place, to help others who feel so alone find community with other survivors who can honestly take your hand and say, "Yes, you can. Let us help you to stand big too." - Chris - Georgia
